Dr Kathleen Neal joined the History Council of Victoria in February 2017, representing Monash University where she lectures in Medieval and Renaissance history.
Kathleen is a passionate educator whose innovative work has been recognised in the Australian Awards for University Teaching. Her research focuses on European political culture and diplomacy in the thirteenth century. She thrives on sharing her love of the Middle Ages, and is committed to building strong links between the academic and wider community through engagement with schools, public events, traditional media and online discussions.
