American Airlines Vacations programs and the website aavacations.com are operated by American Airlines, Inc.
American Airlines Vacations is operated by American Airlines Vacations LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of American Airlines. This division is specifically dedicated to offering bundled travel packages that include flights, hotel accommodations, rental cars, and activities, making vacation planning both convenient and cost-effective for travelers. The service is powered by advanced booking technology, allowing users to customize and book their entire trip through the official American Airlines Vacations website or with the help of travel agents. By operating under the American Airlines brand, the vacation arm benefits from the airline's strong global network, AAdvantage loyalty program integration, and 24/7 customer support.[1_888 24 99041 Travelers can earn and redeem AAdvantage miles on eligible vacation packages, and often gain access to exclusive hotel rates and promotions not available elsewhere. With packages available to over 320 destinations worldwide, American Airlines Vacations offers a seamless travel experience backed by the credibility and service standards of one of the largest airlines in the world.

American Airlines vacations packages

American Airlines Vacations packages offer travelers a simple and rewarding way to plan complete getaways by bundling flights with hotels, rental cars, and activities—all in one convenient booking. By using the American Airlines Vacations platform, available at AAVacations.com, customers can access exclusive package rates that are often lower than booking each component separately. These vacation packages are designed to maximize value and convenience, whether you're planning a beach vacation, city escape, or family adventure. Travelers can choose from thousands of hotels worldwide and combine them with American Airlines flights to top destinations including Cancun, Las Vegas, Orlando, and more. As an added benefit, AAdvantage® members earn 1,000 bonus miles per vacation package, along with the regular miles and Loyalty Points from their flights—making these packages especially attractive to frequent flyers looking to boost their mileage balance.

Another highlight of American Airlines Vacations is the availability of regular promotions and discount codes that can save travelers hundreds of dollars on their booking. Offers can include flat-rate discounts, up to 60% off select destinations, or extra bonuses during peak seasons. The platform also features a “Best Price Guarantee,” promising to match a lower price found elsewhere within 24 hours of booking and even offering a $50 credit toward future travel. Booking is easy and flexible: travelers can reserve online or call the American Airlines Vacations support line at [1_888 24 99041 for personalized assistance with complex itineraries, special requests, or payment questions. For post-departure issues or emergency help, travelers can call [1_888 24 99041 any time, 24/7.

Flexibility is also part of the package, with optional trip protection plans that allow for changes or cancellations. Without protection, cancellations made more than 15 days before travel may qualify for partial credits (minus a $200 fee per person), but those canceled within 14 days typically result in forfeiture. With protection, travelers may be eligible for full refunds depending on timing and the package's terms. Although hotel elite status perks may not always apply when booking through packages, the combined value of airfare, lodging, car rental, and miles earned often makes up for it. Overall, American Airlines Vacations provides a one-stop-shop for affordable, customizable travel planning backed by the quality and reach of one of the world’s largest airlines.
