In discussion: Naomi Wolfe and Nell Musgrove on the Yoorrook Justice Commission
The event includes special discussion between Naomi Wolfe & Nell Musgrove (ACU) about the Yoorrook Justice Commission, Victoria and Australia’s first formal truth-telling inquiry into historic and ongoing injustices perpetuated against First Peoples through colonisation. The talk will be followed by drinks, nibbles and conversation.
Naomi Wolfe is a Trawlwoolway Aboriginal woman with Jewish German and Irish heritage who lives and works on Wurundjeri country (Melbourne, Australia). She is an academic at Australian Catholic University where she teaches Indigenous and ancient histories.

Nell Musgrove is an historian at the Australian Catholic University with a particular interest in the field of child welfare history and carceral institutions. Nell also serves on the Board of the HCV.
